More than a brand, a commitment to women around the world

At Ecowoman, we believe that menstruation should not be an obstacle, but a dignified, healthy, and free experience for everyone. That’s why our mission goes beyond offering sustainable products: we actively work to improve the lives of women and girls in vulnerable situations around the world.

We donate 5% of our profits to fight menstrual poverty

More than 500 million women lack access to safe menstrual products, education about intimate health, or even proper spaces to manage their menstruation. This not only affects their physical health, but also leads to school dropout, social exclusion, and severely limits their opportunities.

Did you know…?

In Sub-Saharan Africa, only 14% of women and girls have access to menstrual products.
In Asia, this number rises only to 36%.
Many resort to dangerous materials such as dirty rags, leaves, or newspapers to manage their menstruation.

In many cultures, menstruation is still a taboo, which fuels silence, shame, and misinformation.

  • We support non-profit organizations working on the ground, providing reusable menstrual products and menstrual education in communities facing emergencies.

  • We send donations to women in conflict zones and areas affected by natural disasters. In 2023, we delivered menstrual products to women affected by the conflict in Ukraine and the earthquake in Turkey, collaborating with local initiatives to ensure safe and dignified menstruation even in extreme situations.

  • We promote visibility and open dialogue about menstruation as a right, not a privilege.

  • We are committed to a business model that redistributes resources, because for us social impact is just as important as the quality of our products.

Our vision

To keep growing in order to expand our impact, reach more corners of the world, and continue building a global community that believes in change.

Because together, we can. We can educate, heal, protect, and transform realities.

More than a community
